Reshared from WBAP Article posted on August 1, 2020
WBAP reported that Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) is reporting a total of 101 firefighters and civilian employees, have tested positive for COVID-19.
Via Twitter, DFR reports 86 have fully recovered and returned to work, and 41 are in quarantine.
We are so pleased that as of August 4, 2020 no active duty DFR have passed away from COVID-19. They are either fully recovered and have returned to work or still currently in quarantine on the road to recovery.
The numbers reflect those exposed to the virus both on and off-duty, as of July 31st.
