The Dallas Firefighter’s Museum was founded in 1972 and opened in 1975, to educate the community’s children and families so they can be safe, honor the fallen men and women of the Dallas Fire Department and preserve firefighting heritage in Dallas.
Endowment funds and planned gifts will help make the Dallas Firefighter’s Museum a center for honor, history and education for decades to come. Your gift will help the Museum create and expand programs for children, families and the community; support strategic initiatives created by the Board to prepare the Museum for the future; and support Museum facility operations by creating an operating endowment for the normal up-keep and repair of the Museum in perpetuity. Other funds the Museum would like to create for the future include:
- A fund that supports expansion, refurbishment and development of exhibits
- A fund to restore apparatus in the Museum’s permanent collections.
As a growing Museum, we seek to create a variety of giving opportunities for our donors and donor families.
We hope you will allow us to assist you. Please contact the Museum directly by calling 214-821-1500.
